Blessed Snow!!!

Finally real snow!!!!  I get that most of you hate it and dread it, but I love it! I really miss the snow, and the quiet that it brings. Every year I pray for one big snow, just one. This year, here is how my prayers were answered!

Ladies who lunch…LOUDLY!

I’ve been playing on Facebook for a couple of months now. I was really unsure at first, but I have to say I’m having a blast on there. I’ve got a ton of family on there and it’s a nice way to to nip in and say hi or just keep up with their stuff! And I LOVE hearing from all the people I went to school with! It’s hilarious to hear what their up to and what they’ve heard about what others are doing. Today I got to have lunch with 3 girls that I was pretty close with in school and man, it was a blast! We laughed until we were sick and cried and just reconnected. It was so much fun, we’re gonna do it once a month. Now i get this isn't special for most people, but I’m the original hermit! I frequently go months and don’t speak to anyone but my immediate family and Tracy! So for me, this was new!!! And fun! So girls, Thanks!

Sundays are sometimes hard here at the casa. We are often tired and bored and lazy, all which are hard concepts for a hyperactive 5 year old! But today was WONDERFUL! LOL we were ALL lazy and busy at our own projects and the day just flowed. Nice day!

I'd like y'all (yes, all 5 of you) to check out this site. Spiritjumper A wonderfully simplistic approach to a problem, that borders on brilliance. We, as a family had our own wake up call to cancer this year, but as a nurse, I KNOW that sometimes the simple act of receiving can change the entire outlook of a patient! I hope you'll consider participating!

Is'nt it odd that MY 5 year old is just now holding and getting his first video game! It's like a little light went on in his head while Jannie was here and he said" I can do that!" So here he is today!




And here's what I've been up to for the last 2 days! The yarn is just all the browns I pulled from my post Christmas frenzy and the Hexagons are what I'm making with them! I'm going to border all of them in a dark chocolate and it's for the end of mine and Tammy's bed. I LOVE crochet!
